About the Author

As a pioneer in the area of integrating Spirituality with Leadership and Wholesome Development, Arun has designed and facilitated many innovative leadership development interventions for leading Indian and International organizations.
Besides Leaders in the Corporate Sector, Arun has tirelessly contributed to the Development of school teachers and Principals, Government Officials, including Senior IAS Officers ,NGO Leaders, Ashoka Fellows, Rotarians, Womens’ Groups and many students. He was the Course Director for the programme “Ethics and Values in Public Governance” for IAS officers of the Govt. of India from 2005 to 2012. Subsequently, he oversaw the development of 50 National Trainers in Ethics and Values in Public Governance in India.
Author of the award-winning book “Managing from the Heart”, Arun has also published more than 35 papers. His most recent book “One Wholesome World” (co-authored with his father Prof. Dr. Omkar N. Wakhlu) is a practical manual for individual and planetary transformation.
Arun was instrumental in initiating the Indo Pak People to People Dialogue for Peace and Prosperity (Aug.2001), All J&K People Dialogue for Peace and Prosperity ( Feb. 2002 ), One Wholesome World Conference (July 2012) , Poorna Pune (2013 ) and the Annadata Safe Food movement in Pune in 2017.
